Brock is going to come in on a high note from beating Heath Herring. I think Couture is the better fighter, but at last glance Couture is giving up 40 lbs to Lesnar. Hope it is a good fight..will see.

I have gave in and did a few pay per views..but never again..never seems to be worth it though I like the MMA

though I enjoy watching for the sport...the combination of hand to hand tactics, it's a very violant sport and honestly I don't feel right about watching it.

Also something else that bothers me is I know plenty that can gather for a fight and cheer someone as he beats the mess out of someone else, even kids watching it and the same ones you can never get together for a prayer meeting. Im just wondering if our priorities are screwed up.

I don't mean to put you down and I understand the attraction to the sport. I love watching Basketball myself.

Many years ago a friend and I did a pay per view also and loved it -of course this was something like UFC 29 or 30 when each fighter had to fight in three matches in order to win the cash. This was the era of Dan Severen, Don Frye and Tank Abbot (who I believe had the snot beat out of him during this episode).

I realize that not everyone will like the sport. My father has watched them and just doesn't like it. But most of the people or at least a good amount of the people that say they "don't like it" don't know enough about it. Not saying this about you Prax at all just an example, but most people are not educated enough about the sport and thus form a flawed opinion. I used to be one of those guys. Thought it was the dumbest things, but now I love it and would love to train in it. Not to fight but for the great workouts.

Here's our new club patch design. The patches should be delivered some time this week. The kanji reads "bushido."

I'm currently training a guy for a cage fight in August. Seems to be doing well. Cardio, cardio, cardio!!!!

Oh Im not saying I don't like it. In fact I enjoy it. I just question, or rather feel uncomfortable that what I am watching isn't good for me. That's my problem. I was into it when it first started and most people I know that watch it now, didn't know it existed.

I've watched with a crowed of people, all of whom are Christians, and it disturbed me to see some guy get his face pounded in and the crowd shouting joyfully upon seeing that...especially kids.
