And you know so much about ministry that you can't find a perfect church or a Pastor to suit your high expectations? It isn't a wonder.

Rhoni, you can get as mad as you want, but the truth is the truth, whether you like it or not. Becoming a missionary isn't a walk in the park, Sister. Becoming one because you are bored with your life is no reason to make this kind of decision. By your own words, you gave three reasons for becoming one, all of which were focused on YOU, as MP pointed out. Trying to deflect the conversation to whether I am in church or not is just a way of avoiding having to deal with the things I've told you. If you are not interested in what others have to say about this, then you shouldn't have posted it on a public internet forum, like Renda pointed out. When you are over getting angry at hearing what you don't want to hear, maybe it would be a good idea to actually think about the things I've said.

Just a side note, did you intend for the above quote to be quite as condescending as it sounded? There are millions of good Christian people across the world, sitting in pews and serving God with their whole hearts.

Absolutely not..I was speaking about my inactivity. I have to be active and involved. Don't jump on the bandwagon Dizzy

Rhoni,
I will discontinue conversation with you from this point forward. Our responses have nothing to do with your education, but instead, your comments.
God bless, and good luck.

No doubt. Apparently pointing out her self-absorbtion has struck a nerve. Funny how the truth has a way of doing that.

Did I not quote the scripture correctly? You are out of line and that is the truth.

Rhoni, I really believe you read things into this forum that's not here. Who is prejudice because of what you do? We all defend the right for anyone to have a secular education. My kids are college graduates, as are a lot of people on this forum. They just don't feel the need to keep bringing it up.
I hope you find what you're looking for. You will seriously be in my prayers.
God bless you, Rhoni.....

But, it's comments like that Rhonda that cause people to react to you like you do.
We know without a doubt you have a degree, you tell us all the time and that's what people are trying to tell you.
People ARE not intimidated by you having a degree as you think they are, so therefore, their responses aren't because of your degree or career - it's because of your constant need to prove something.

You made this about yourself with your first post! What kind of nonsense are you babbling about now? Good grief!

Well, I'm glad, although I could have done without the slap.
I know all about crisis time, I am in the middle of one myself, and figuring out the next step is not easy, or fun.

No need to apologize, Sister. My post to you was not intended as a jab, contrary to what you may think. I was being honest with you. Would you rather that I had lied and said, "Sure, Rhoni, it's plain to see you are cut from the same kind of cloth as other missionaries I know"?
