Re: What I Like About You.....
As much as I would like to, time will not permit me writing about each individually.
I just want to say I love everyone on here!
I can't think of anyone I would not want to meet for a cup of java or a meal.
A few posters I have "known" for eight or ten years - and it has always been a treat to meet up given the opportunity.
Thank you for your part on the AFF community!!

It reminded me of it as well. I really enjoyed that thread.
It is good for us to remind folks that they do mean something to us.
I know it is easy to take the easy way out and say all are enjoyed here and that is true, but it means more to the posters to take the time to say a line of what you appreciate about them. IMO

Re: What I Like About You.....
LOL! I keep hearing that song every time I read this thread title!!! And I can't get it out of my head!
I have a hard time with these kinds of threads cuz I hate to hurt anyone's feelings by leaving them out...so I'd just like to say that I appreciate ALL of our posters. You are all great to me...yes, even when you're cranky!
I have formed many wonderful friendships and relationships here. And I have great respect for those I have not formed a friendship with.
Thanks Bro. Ron for starting this thread! We really need warm fuzzies once in a while.
And thank you so much for the kind words about my husband and I. He really IS a great big teddy bear! I'm so glad we had the opportunity to meet! You've been a strong voice on the forum that I have always greatly respected and appreciated, and getting to see the man behind the voice was such a pleasure. Funny, witty, and very kind and considerate. You're da bomb!

My children and I, take the prayer requests to heart, and pray for specific needs, as they are posted.
My son (15 yrs old, but oh so mature in many ways) reads with me sometimes, and he has his favorite posters.
He checks out anything to do with playing the bass, some guitar, Victor Wooten videos, etc.....
A few weeks ago, my son wanted me to message Bro Scott and ask what kind of bass he plays.
I never did ask, but maybe Bro Scott will see this, and let Aaron know.
Different ones here, have let us know they were praying for my husbands safe return, and that has always meant so much to Aaron, (my son).
Who would be my favorite posters?
Those that are kind (yes, you know who you are), that love people, (yes, that is you I'm talking about), that always have a smile, and kind words.
I guess I don't have the best "forum presence", but if you really knew me, the real me, you would like me. ( I promise....ok, maybe after I slip you a bribe in the offering plate, I could convince you, that you would like me).
May the Lord bless all of you, and your families.

I certainly don't think of you as an 'unknown' poster! I almost always read your posts! You have a lot to offer us here at AFF.
I'm glad you found us!

I think you DO have a great "forum presence" here (whatever that means )
And if you are different in real life than you are on here, please don't let us know that because I really LIKE the 'you' that we know here on AFF.
I'm glad you're here, HMF. You bring a whole lot of good to this forum.

Re: What I Like About You.....
This is a fantastic thread! Thanks for starting it, Ron. I usually don't like these "list" things, but I think in view of all the other discussion that's been going on here the last few days, this is a real breath of fresh air
I can't even begin to start of a list of all those here who I think so much of and all of the different reasons. Everyone here is special in their own unique ways and each one brings something all their own to the forum. I know people outside of AFF think it's weird, but I can honestly say from the bottom of my heart that I love each and every one of you and am so thankful that God brought you into my life. I am blessed to have the chance to get to know you.
I love to pray as I am driving down the road. You understand that where we live - everything is a drive away. You don't get anywhere in 5 minutes or less, so I get good time to pray when I get in th car. I can't begin to tell you how very many times that I've been driving down the road praying when God dropped one of your names in my heart and I began to intercede for you. Over and over. Sometimes it would be just a quick little "God bless 'em" prayer. A few times, it has been MUCH, much more. OneAccord, God has placed you on my heart many times. Tamor, same thing. Renda, during your knee surgery, God placed you on my heart many times. And of course, Sis Alvear. Almost every day God brings you to my mind and heart to pray for you. Rhoni, you're another one. And Scott. Several times I've asked God to work on your behalf and bless you financially with whatever your need was that day. Goodness, I could go on and on. But you all get the picture.
I'm not saying I'm anything special for praying. Please don't think that. I'm saying YOU ALL are so special to me that God is able to bring you to my mind over and over to pray for. We don't usually pray for people we don't know or care about, now do we?
