Speaking of Mickey D's.... did you know they are going to be putting coffee bars? They are complete with a dedicated "Barista". Had my first McDonalds Espresso a few days ago. Not too bad - about as good as Panera Bread or even some Starbucks I have had, but nowhere near my local roaster's quality.
Mc D's Premium Roast. If you are fifty ask for Sr coffee, it's a quarter. Makes up for a little bit of taste. LOL Over sixty-five and it's free.

I so envy you brother Hoover! I would love to have a roaster!
There was a place online that showed ya how to use your popcorn maker to roast the beans.... My husband thought about trying it just to see! But I do believe it would get very messy! Just a thought anyway.

Children, children... the cheap ones are only $70. not worthy of envy or popcorn popper conversions.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths
Articles on such subjects as "The New Birth," will be accepted, whether they teach that the new birth takes place before baptism in water and Spirit, or that the new birth consists of baptism of water and Spirit. - THE PENTECOSTAL HERALD Dec. 1945

If I am going to spend 30 or 40 for a pound of it I am certainly not going to roast it in a 'CHEAP' roaster.
Call me a snob if you must but .......
I'm with you Jax... now if I can convince my wife I need to spend the $495.00.... Maybe I'll get it for her anniversary present!

I think he is a prime candidate for the Luwak bean turds.

GOOD coffee is a necessity. It is not something to be taken lightly. 495 is a small price to pay for something that may actually save your life one day.
