Jack is the common nickname for the proper name John. You could name him John Walker Miller.
But you shouldn't do that, because he will end up being called Johnny Walker Miller!

This is true. Even the dog's name can end up in the tortured torrent of attempted anunciations. The key is to train them ALL to come running when they hear names being yelled.
