LOL! yes, and that is one of the reasons why we havent settled on it.

but we will call him Jack so I think it is ok.

Mrs Ferd says it sounds like a law firm. (not a bad deal there huh?)

It really doesn't matter if the names sound close like Eli and Levi. Or Jackson and Levi you will still be calling for Levi when you really want Jackson. Or Eli when you want Levi.


This happens to me all the time.

Jack is the common nickname for the proper name John. You could name him John Walker Miller.


But you shouldn't do that, because he will end up being called Johnny Walker Miller!

This is true. Even the dog's name can end up in the tortured torrent of attempted anunciations. The key is to train them ALL to come running when they hear names being yelled.
