Re: What Can We Agree On ?
I believe in one God manifesting Himself throughout time to His creation as the Father, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in regeneration.
I believe that the shed blood of Jesus alone is payment for our sins' remission.
I believe all who have called upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
I believe a sinner must have faith in Christ alone for his salvation, and that he must repent of and confess his sins, and accept the Lord Jesus into His life as Lord, establishing a covenant of salvation through the power of Calvary and the Risen Lord.
I believe all believers should and must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ to bear witness that their sins have been remitted by Christ.
I believe that the baptism of the Holy Ghost is evident in tongues as the initial sign, but that tongues are not the only sign of a Spirit filled life.
I believe Jesus Christ came back as He said He would, and that as God, He came back as He came numerous times in the Old Testament.
I believe that the Church is not bound to pay tithes as a salvation issue, but that all believers should give freely, generously, and with a cheerful heart.
I believe the Church is not a particular organization, but is the collective Body of all believers throughout the world.
I believe that a man called of God should answer that call, and should be mentored so as to refine that which the Lord has put in him.
OK, you may not agree with my beliefs, but here they are, laid out as best as I can put them in words.

Bro. Price: The Bible says "How can any two walk together except they agree?" It seems, on the basis of what you wrote above, you and I can, and do walk together in agreement.

Ok, here is CLEAR SCRIPTURE for what I believe. Maybe it will mean something....
2Ti 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

I reckon we can agree that Scott Hutchinson is nice to a fault.

It's like a struggle what I would REALLY WANT and what is best for me...a constant war!
I think some old fashioned freshly baked yeast rolls would be outstanding.
