I thought you were serious! I have been on other forums trying to convince people that voting for someone else or staying home b/c they don't like McCain is assuring an even worse scenario-----KILLARY or O BOMB US in the Oval Office!

I mean I wasn't crazy about Bush I back in 1992 but I voted for him so Bill would not get elected. I knew some folks that voted for Perot b/c they liked hisd message. But it was obvious that Ross wasn't going to win. I would have taken another four years of GHWB ANY DAY over the 8 years of Clinton! Same story with Dole. People still voted for Perot.

We have to vote sometimes for the lesser of two evils. Voting your "principles" is admirable but it isn't always very practical. Sometimes the higher principle is to keep a worse leader out of office.

If KILLARY or O BOMB US get elected, the next 4-8 years will be a MAJOR DISASTER!

There's no chicken in his pot, just some thin broth, but he's new and fresh enough that he might take a more studious approach to the presidency than what we've seen in recent years. Which would not necessarily be all bad.

I think a forced national ID and limits on free speech, a la the totalitarian McCain, could turn out to be, in practice, pretty bad.

But I could never vote for a socialist, or anyone who supports gov't funding of abortion.
