Romney looked great again tonight.
Romney reminds me of a guy who will say anything to get elected. Too many flip flops. The Dems will pulverize him with John Kerry-like flip-flop ads and he will lose.

We need strong, tall men with statemen looking qualities lighting upon their brow. Big men with noble character, broad shouldered men with conviction who are well able to inspire a nation. Men with a certain look of destiny in their eye, able to impart vision. Tall men with "presence" that command attention like George Washington and Ronald Reagan are in need to fill the highest office in the land.

Send the women folks back home from Washington. They are needed around harth and home. Women wearing breeches do not impress me as leaders, nor do they inspire confidence or instill visions of greatness.
Are you kidding me????????

Bill Clinton is tall and was inspiring when he spoke............................

Puhlease! This voting based on imagery is what gets us in trouble! WE'RE NOT VOTING FOR MISS AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!

Let's see yours then!

And if you're so smart, why can't you recognize tongue-in-cheek humor?

Whew!!!!

I thought you were serious! I have been on other forums trying to convince people that voting for someone else or staying home b/c they don't like McCain is assuring an even worse scenario-----KILLARY or O BOMB US in the Oval Office!

Sorry. The logic of some people has me exasperated. I apologize.

Just please vote for McCain if he ends up the nominee.

I mean I wasn't crazy about Bush I back in 1992 but I voted for him so Bill would not get elected. I knew some folks that voted for Perot b/c they liked hisd message. But it was obvious that Ross wasn't going to win. I would have taken another four years of GHWB ANY DAY over the 8 years of Clinton! Same story with Dole. People still voted for Perot.

We have to vote sometimes for the lesser of two evils. Voting your "principles" is admirable but it isn't always very practical. Sometimes the higher principle is to keep a worse leader out of office.

If KILLARY or O BOMB US get elected, the next 4-8 years will be a MAJOR DISASTER!

Re: McCain 48% Clinton 40%... McCain 47% Obama 41%

You do know that Obama isn't actually a Muslim, right?

He's just another misguided upstart leftist, trying to make a name for himself as a populist socialist dreamer.

There's no chicken in his pot, just some thin broth, but he's new and fresh enough that he might take a more studious approach to the presidency than what we've seen in recent years. Which would not necessarily be all bad.

I think a forced national ID and limits on free speech, a la the totalitarian McCain, could turn out to be, in practice, pretty bad.

But I could never vote for a socialist, or anyone who supports gov't funding of abortion.

Oh, the absurdity!
Do you have any idea how irrational this sounds?
What does a man's height have to do with his leadership ability?

The bible tells us that Saul, one of the worst kings of Israel, was a very tall man.

Winston Churchill, one of the most inspiring leaders of the 20th century, was short.
