On the emergency frequency scanner he has at home, a tornado has been reported near Rutherford, just southwest of us. Thunder is very ominous right now. I am mere feet away from the center of the house, so I am as safe as it can get in a house with no basement.

Try to stay as safe as possible. I'm still at work. By the time I get home, it will probably be nearing us if it comes this way. I have a basement and may be spending time there tonight!

Tamor.... unless this thing fizzles out, brace yourself for a long evening.

On the radar, the two huge red cells have broken into four smaller cells. Let's just pray that it doesn't rebuild and get stronger again. The first small cell is just now coming into our area.

Light rain is falling, and loud thunder rolling here... if it starts getting too close, I'm shutting down and will check back in when it's over.

The worst of it seems to be past us.

Just strong winds, I could hear limbs falling-- will see how it looks in the morning... I'm not going out tonight, it's still pouring rain. Lots of loud thunder... and plenty of rain! We'll probably have a lake in our back yard in the morning if this keeps up.

They haven't lifted the tornado watch yet, but they probably will before long from the looks of the current radar.

Hope everyone else in the path of this storm stays safe!

Sorry, had to take my mom home, then cook dinner.

The worst is over, no damage in our immediate are. Except for my nerves.
