Math & English Composition

I HATED Social Studies/History. I still have trouble getting into it, although some of Hannah's new school books have piqued my interest.

I liked Science (especially Physics), but struggled with it a bit. Spelling was a no-brainer.

That's what I thought Prax, when I read her post.

I had a huge, huge crush when I was in the fourth grade but it was not a crush on any of the girls...it was my teacher. I thought that she was next to GOD. I loved that woman more than life itself.

I did not want to go to the 5th grade. I could have stayed in her class, the 4th grade for the rest of my life, so I thought. Then, when the summer came, she asked me to come to her house and water her plants. I almost fainted. I watered her plants all summer long. I'll never forget the first time I went to her house. I had to walk around the block three times before I had the never to knock on her door. When she answered the door, my knees got wobbly.

I survived that day and the summer too. In the 5th grade, I would go to her class room to see if I could wash the blackboard for her or do whatever I could. She could see the sparkle in my eyes when I looked up into her face. She would give me the sweetest smile and I would just almost swoon each time.

Aaaahhh, those were the days. My 5th grade teacher was mean. I think she was jealous that I thought so much of the 4th grade teacher. Anyway, I did not like her and she did not like me. I was sure glad when I went to the 6th.
