I don't see any evidence that he has abandoned the doctrine of baptismal regeneration ... Also his views on justification are among the most extreme among PAJCers.

It's a tightrope that he and others in the upper echalon of the org leadership will have to traverse in the years to come ... they don't want to appear as if they are abandoning holiness ... yet clearly their has been change.

Seeing some things differenly doesn't mean one is abandoning Holiness, actually it can mean they are embracing True Holiness.

"There is also agreement that these steps do not constitute salvation by works. Rather, they are applications of the grace o God, purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ, and they are expressions of faith in God."

He calls it "Three steps of faith".

Agreed ... yet there seems to me that some of the apparatchiks want to appeal to those who want to HOLD DOWN THE FORT while also advocating a semi-PROGRESSIVE agenda.

This is simply my own personal analysis .....

It's based on the recent letters he's written on the TV issue, this forum thread post, what others who know him have said, and his letter to me when I resigned.

DB told me in response to my letter of resignation ...

I am praying that God will truly give us answers that will satisfy the majority and help us to move forward. I am hoping that ministers such as you will be part of the solution.

If you continue to affirm these provisions, then I believe it will be a mistake for you to leave the UPCI. You will limit your ministry and your ability to influence our movement.
