They knew better than to start acting up 'cause I'd haul their butts straight to the bathroom for a little holy correction!!!

IMO when you are presenting a drama (especially when your target audience is the world), you want to present it as realistically as possible, and that is exactly what they did.

No argument with me from the presentation; however, some folks would have a legitimate reason to leave if they see inconsistency in the presentation of what a pastor teaches and what they see as a drama play that equates to nothing more than "Hollywood" in their eyes. I don't think you can fault them for that, do you?
So, if it is dumb to leave a church that shows a play with makeup and nakedness; are you suggesting that it would be dumb to turn the t.v. off when something on it offends you? Okay, if you say so.
