You can't successfully defend untruths.

For the record I don't believe in a clergy and laity division.
I believe in a Royal priesthood of believers though there are different callings and responsibilities in the church all people borned of God have equal access to our Lord.

No argument from me on that, Brother Scott. It's just the gymnastics that others of our brethren have done is kind of troubling. like "Ancient Champions of Oneness."

JL Hall, noted UPCI historian, theologian and apologist has just published a book entitled "Restoring the Apostolic Faith: History of the Early Pentecostal Movement" where he theorizes of the restoration impulse that has restored things to the original church structure. He essentially debunks the theory held by some OP historians, like M. Arnold, regarding "remnant" history ... in which some claim OPs have survived throughout each generation .... both theories in my opinion have flaws.
Halls assertions about the subsequent apostasy sounds very much like the Mormons.

Pelathais,
Do you consider Luther a great reformer?

I categorically reject the notion that there has always been a Oneness Pentecostal presence throughout history. We would not exist as Pentecostals without Luther's contributions.

Then there was a time when the body of Christ did not exist on the earth. If Paul could use Elijah's story of a "remnant" that existed to point to a remnant of Israelites that were not blinded and did not stumble at Christ then we can use the same analogy and say there has always been a remnant of true believers throughout history.
...His truth endures to all generations.

The Jews were ancient champions of the oneness of God, but not in the sense that OP's consider themselves as 'Oneness'.
