All for jesus. He survived them. Pass the plate. I gotta puke.
And I only have your word on that. Taking you at your word however, then that would be abuse, pure and simple. God does not condone abuse, nor do I. And I am deeply offended that you would accuse me of that, simply because I make the distinction between abuse and correction.

Now, if you're done puking, please clean up after yourself. We don't have a janitor.

Also, I want to emphasize this point. It was not for Jesus, it was for the parent. Another distinction between abuse and correction.

You should be

"Sister your husband drives, your job is to sit in the passenger seat and tell him how to drive."

That's your "sir".

Still laughing chuck? I am.

False alarm on the puking. Whew I know right?

Of course it was for Jesus.

It's enough for me to hear you to admit the method of correction acceptable (and look you even dug up Proverbs) thus validating my view that you condone it acceptable for yourself but condemn the application of it by others.

The religion of lies. Isn't it what this thread is about?

We will discuss these "death by homeschooling and torture in fundamentalist households" cases next. Not that I don't believe you, but none of these children got reported by fellow church members.

Re: Islam: A Religion of Lies...

Hey Walks, how many muslims do you know who strike their wives?

Sura 4:34 Husbands should take full care of their wives, with [the bounties] God has given to some more than others and with what they spend out of their own money. Righteous wives are devout and guard what God would have them guard in the husbands’ absence. If you fear high-handedness from your wives, remind them [of the teaching of God], then ignore them when you go to bed, then hit them. If they obey you, you have no right to act against them. God is most high and great.

I bet no Southern Muslim hits his wife, because the women down her would beat them beyond recognition. Especially those Cajun Muslim women, and those Texan Muslim women.

I condemn any application of it that results in abuse. Where is your confusion on this matter? Or are you simply obfuscating in order to make your position seem better? Are you trying to make yourself feel better, by attempting to make us seem as bad as your religion?
