I'm guessing your wife doesn't wear Levi jeans?

I most certainly do believe that. I doubt if 99% of the church world has any clue about repentance.

I don't know what brand they are but I do know that they are cut differently than men's jeans.

I am guessing that the women in your church wear T shirts sometimes? No doubt like the T shirts men wear.

There is not a single one of you that confuses a womans pair of pants and the way they are cut with men's clothing.

If subtle differences in robes were good enough for the Bible day folks then I think that the differences between mens and women's pants (just like the difference between men's shirts and women's blouses) is good enough today.

There is a principle involved of distinction between the sexes that, like much of old time Pentecost, gets carried to an unjustifiable extreme.

One more bit of pretzel logic to put a wedge between thinking people and the Pentecostal message of Jesus name baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

My question is this if they looked so much alike then why is there NOT one instance in Bible where women were mistaken for men?????

Women's jeans can look so much like men's that you have to pick them up to see the size (unless your wife is the same size as you!)

Yes, there are women (youth) who wear t-shirts. The ones that look manly I'd rather they not wear. Yes, there is a difference in some, but not all.

I don't deny that the differences in the biblical dress was minimal, but I've already addressed this in a number of other posts today. Here's one: http://www.apostolicfriendsforum.com...&postcount=409

There's probably many things that weren't mentioned in the Bible, that's not really a good point.

Besides women usually didn't have beards in the Bible making it easy to tell the difference.

Yeah and the fact is that the men were modest then too. Not just the women.
