Re: Mooney Guns for "Secret" Meeting in Detroit?
Exactly. What is the PAW chopped liver?
Although it is still very much 3 stepper although with the light doctrine flavor of its founder, GT Haywood

Folks do the "legalism issues" their own way anyway. I mean, why create a new org for such subtle differences as you suggest. Many leaving, have more differences than just some cover-up. It's a complete paradigm shift. Besides, there already are groups like PAW and others that are what you are referring to.

It would be cool to see an org. that still retained the identity of Oneness Pentecostalism without the legalism.

The ALJC isn't liberal.

I went to an ALJC church from 1963 or 1964 until 1978.
It was a "liberal" church. Most of the ladies had short hair and some had their hair dyed blue, red, blonde, or black. There were other ALJC churches in Ohio that preached long hair, and some preached against medicine and doctors. I don't think it is fair to say that the ALJC as an organization is liberal.

Funny to read of most any Pentecostal organization as "liberal"
Funny to read of most Christian communities as "liberal"
Goes to show it's all very relative.

Yup. As Timlan has pointed out before to 99.9% of the world I am a religous and political conservative. Only to old time Oneness Pentecostals am I a liberal.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

Elder Epley said something like
Everyone is somebody's liberal
and
everyone is somebody's conservative.
