500 posts in 25 days. At this rate, we should have the longest thread on Aff by the fall.

Post on my Canadian friends, post on, give us excess of posts that surfeiting therein we may exceed all others.
In the spirit of trying to help increase posts on this thread I have a question:

During visits to family around Boston we would get these hot dogs called "Maple Leaf." They were linked together. They were GOOD!

Can they still be found up there and if so where?

I'll be up that way in a couple weeks, Lord willing, and would be glad to get ahold of some.

Thanks,
Nina

Maple Leaf doesn't make linked hotdogs.

Linked sausages maybe?

Here is a response from Maple Leaf Foods to a writer asking the same question as Nina.

Case #10833

Dear consumer,

Thank you for taking the time to contact Maple Leaf.

The above is the email I got back from the Maple Leaf people--Well, I guess the original Maple Leaf is dead.....
Oh well....
Tara

Maple Leaf does not sell wieners in the United States. The product you are referring to is called Maple Leaf Franks and produced by another company. Company Russer's in Buffalo, NY at

(716) 826-6400, however we have been advised by this company that they no longer make this product.

Sincerely,
Joumana Collins
