CAF is a closed forum.

Ahhh, I see. So, it would still be ok to post something from say, GNC, but not a place like CAF or the forum Lois runs? What is so unreasonable about that? I don't understand what the big deal is about. BTW, are you an admin here?

Really it depends on the definition of "closed" and whether we like the other forum or poster in question.
Most on here would love to have the scoop on a "closed" Mormon or Masonic Lodge forum.

Thats why this should be addressed by Admin in a thread.

I don't know, Bro. This is something admin is going to have to clear up for you guys. All the forums I visit are public, so it really doesn't apply to me. I just asked because I thought we couldn't copy from any forums now and needed some clarification.

Well, you could try sending St Matt or maybe Rhenda a pm, suggesting it.

As far as I can see...it's okay to post from a public forum. Although in some cases, it might serve better to remove the original poster's name.
A closed forum is closed for a reason...it's to retain its privacy and the privacy of poster's and what they say. It's mostly common courtesy to not repeat things, knowing it was said in private.
And yes, I'm a part of the Admin Team.
