You are the problem. Small minds? Because we speak against abominations? Power? Also a deceitptfull gesture on your part. The gay agenda is power hungry. They want marriage, they fight against democracy and of course need power hungry activist judges because legislatures and voters aren't into the Deviant behaviors and hedonism.
Your sleazy insults won't change the bible.
11And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father.
12And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
The gay marriage agenda is how we see people follow the culture and avoid following that which pleases the LORD.
Aquila wants us to have our liberty given away to activist judges. Christians draw the line and say no way.
The gays are trying to break the doors down as they did at Lot's house.
We want to protect our families.

Coadie, you're paranoid. Most gay people want to live their lives, be happy, and be left alone. You do have the radical nutcases that can't find balance. Just like on our side we have you. It's the two extremes on both sides that REAL Americans have to look out for.

There are people who are sincerely trying to adhere to the teachings of God as best they know how. No control issues, no small mind, just believing they're siding with the Word of God. I don't understand the broad brush used to paint those who don't feel the same way you do.

I'll demonstrate my point. Is Coadie trying to adhere to the teachings of God as best as he knows how? Perhaps. However, Coadie is also trying to force our Christian beliefs down the throats of fellow Americans who don't believe like him and desire different choices for their lives. Coadie isn't happy just living for Jesus and being a light. He has to somehow "take control for Jesus" (as though Jesus isn't in control unless we vote a certain way). And politics is his way of doing it. In the mean time, he'll degrade, and falsely represent ANY brother or sister that disagrees with him. That is the fantacism that I don't at all agree with.
Yes, there are radicals on the left. And there are radicals on the right (Coadie being an example). Both are very dangerous because in some way they want to control the rest of us. Each using the other's radical agenda to justify their own.

As far as I can see, you've got it completly backwards.
Christians aren't trying to force anything, it's the activist homosexual agenda that has brought this all on.
This is America, and we are real Americans and in America there are issues that appear on the ballot, put there by real Americans.
We vote, one side wins, one side looses.
As far as Codie, if you want to engage him on his behavior, please do so, but I see no advantage in using him as a pawn to make your point in discussing this issue with me.

So you lie. I am not happy just living for Jesus and being a light because I speak against gay marriage?
11And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father.

We have people in our churches trying to force the gay marriage agenda.
It won't work in my church.
Aquila has major hate for what King Asa did.
forcing the sodomite marriage in America isn't going to work. I realize you are obssessed with it and God is against it.

No, small minds because the power you seek is political, to lord our faith over others.
Quote:
Power? Also a deceitptfull gesture on your part. The gay agenda is power hungry.

Here Coadie uses the radicals on the left to justify his rightwing radical position.
Quote:
They want marriage, they fight against democracy and of course need power hungry activist judges because legislatures and voters aren't into the Deviant behaviors and hedonism.
|
Here Coadie repudiates the Judiciary and advocates mob rule through democracy over Constitutionally protected liberty for all Americans.
Quote:

|
Here Coadie uses the Bible as a political weapon to make his fascist cause seem just, like the religious extremists before him.
Quote:

|
Here Coadie looses sight of the Church being a separated body of individuals in a fallen world. Instead Coadie feels we are engaged in a war to conqure, guide, and protect culture politically.
Quote:
Aquila wants us to have our liberty given away to activist judges. Christians draw the line and say no way.

Aquila wants no such thing. Aquila believes in protecting the liberties of ALL Americans. Even those who I disagree with. The moment something endangers the life, liberty, or property of another American... I speak out. Coadie desires to deny liberty to Americans he doesn't religiously agree with because he cannot distinguish between the earthly and the holy. Coadie also implies that one isn't a "Christian" unless they support his radical political position.
Quote:
The gays are trying to break the doors down as they did at Lot's house.
|
Paranoid rhetoric employed to ratchet up emotion to his cause, thereby bypassing rational thought. I'm looking at my door right now... no gays are outside wishing to break it down. I love my family and I'm faithful to the Lord. Gay marriage, polygamy, or any other worldly practice of this world will not and cannot change that.
Quote:
We want to protect our families.
|
When Coadie says he wants to protect our families, he means that he wants to empower the GOVERNMENT to dictate to private citizens as to how we are to live our lives. Coadie thinks his protecting you... he wants GOVERNMENT to rule over you.

Speak against it bro. Nothing wrong with that.
Advocating that we use GOVERNMENT to impose an agenda on a free people is a whole other issue.
