Second, as far as someone falling...it would probably happen anyways somewhere and somehow. However the saying comes to mind "the bigger they are the harder they fall"....Clearly when it's someone of his stature it gets more unwanted attention for the church. On a lessor degree the damage is limited to that congregation probably
Jim and Tammy Baker didn't have a strict deacon board either.

This is possible.

Still creeps me out.

You'd make an excellent juror.

It's still creepy and I would be very upset if a pastor sent this to my son or daughter! If nothing else, it's extremely vain.

Exactly!

And, very unwise of him even if he was just texting and sending it to show the color of his shirt because of how the picture COULD be interpreted. Not smart at all.

Something to consider, regardless of what the deacon's did, is that the IRS requires a 501(c)3 organization to be operated by a Board of Directors. This can't be changed. Eddie Long, or any chairman of a 501(c)3 corporation, is going to have held accountable to that board, no matter what. If one person is ever given complete control, they would lose their tax-exempt status.

Also, their "Deacons" may be a separate group from the Board of Directors.
Can't fool me. What a fake claim. he decides who is on the board and if they don't agree, they are gone. If it is true that he had a wardrobe malfuinction, he sure won't run a clean corporation.

You find him attractive. Normal 57 year old males with grown children don't advertise.

Or maybe a good defense attorney. I'll talk to Baron and see what he says.

This is why pastors are almost always eliminated from jury pools. I've been 3 times and I lasted until I was asked my occupation. An attorney told me it's because pastors are too unpredictable and tend to be overly judgmental or overly merciful. Wonder which one I am?
