One of the things about wedding rings is also the fact that they were used in a pagan ceremony and the very words...with this ring I thee wed are used.I will ask one of the brothers for the reference and send it to you.

I have another question, why do Orthodox Jews wear them if it is a Catholic tradition that has paganistic origins?

I never said rings were Catholic.Brother Epley did.Orthodox Jews wear wedding rings as a custom that developed because they no longer had
a traditional bride price anymore.The ring became the dowry.I read this some time back in the history of rings when Sister Pam used to post at GNC.
We had a really good thread on it.Its kind of like how we not tithe with money instead of our increase of sheep and goats.lol.
The reason I asked you the question I did is because I thought you were looking to the Jews for an answer.They certainly even Orthodox don't hold many of the convictions Apostolic preacher hold.They are stict in alot of the letter of the law though.So no I don't look to them for my convictions.I look to the bible and prayer.I have friends who are all forms
of Jewish including Messianic believers.

It would be a stretch If I said their intention was to label you as a "spiritual adulterer/fornicator." But let's not stretch this.
Here's the deal, if you do not agree with them on EVERYTHING they will lump you with everyone that is lost!!!!
Just be pleased that they have not said that a wedding ring is the slippery slope to Malakos.
