Phil, you make a great point here. I have seen some folk on platforms in charismatic churches that needed to clean up some and even if they did, they still wouldnt be holiness...

some are so worried about not bowing to "legalism" that they have let anything go!

No doubt there are some that would see my "limited view" as ridiculous but I would argue against the word "many" since there just aren't "many" old time Oneness Pentecostals. They are a tiny subculture of Christianity.

Now you happen to be in the epiecenter of that sub culure but nevertheless it is not big!!!!!!!!!!!!

No doubt but in this case I think you are very much the minority and very much wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't doubt that you and other OP's sincerely think that a woman who stops wearing earrings is "cleaned up". I also think you are absolutely wrong about what constitutes being "cleaned up". That it only has to do with dress and adornment as it relates to modesty and moderation. I know that some of you more intelligent ones have to be embarressed deep down at the mental gymnastics you folks take to ban things like makeup, etc. Sometimes I really miss Mark Bassett one more time trying to put forth the thesis that makeup is a "mask" that hides a womans true self. LOL
