This would appear to be very inflammatory and contentious to some considering that the lineup of the invitation only meeting in Detroit consisted of TF Tenney, Rex Johnson, and others.
One minister on a ministerial forum stated that he spoke to Mooney after this sermon and it was clear to him based on this discussion that Mooney had this meeting in his cross hairs.

This is for Growing Pains. You are speaking off the cuff, with very little insight to the dynamics here. Things don't happen in a vacuum, nor has this message by Mooney, this thread, or the reactions by various posters herein - especially wanting to find out who is who.
Ask yourself who posted this podcast message on their blog?
Ask yourself who logged on to sing the praises of this message within minutes of the post you read above - perhaps being prompted that it had been posted?
Ask yourself who viscerally attacked the men in Detroit in this thread?
Ask yourself who has boasted about spending the last few months on this topic and encouraged others to read his articles on this issue of emerging church?
Ask yourself who might be the Miss. minister who had a discussion after this message with the preacher and knows first hand that Mooney had these men in his sights during this message about preserving Apostolic identity and throwing down the gauntlet about confronting our brethren?
As for your interpretation of the context of this message - it begins to unravel down a certain line after Mooney speaks of Emerging Church. Go back and listen with recent history in mind and what you have read here.
Think my good man about Mooney's role on the EC committee. Think about the events of the last few months. The dots are there for the connecting.
Do you honestly believe the men in Detroit have not had a bull's eye on them for quite some time already? They have been on HQ and General Board radar for months - some years. These men, by name, have been the fodder of ridicule, disdain and gossip on private ministerial forums for just as long with sorrow being pretext for engaging in such activity.
Take notice that no one disagrees what and who this message is targeting, even those who laud it. Why? But rather want names.
Ask why various posters have done their best, even via private messaging, to uncover who might be a mole or speaking out of turn?
Scott, like I said to you prior I will not disclose my identity even if you probe and flatter.
It is what it is.

I don't know much and as far I'm concerned Elder PM is a Christian man,and so were the brethren at the Detroit meeting with the world in the shape it's in,all of this rift between brethren must grieve the heart of God.

I go by the name of Sam on this and some other forums but my real name is also visible. I can use my real name and express my opinions because I am not afraid of reprisals, gossip, disfellowship, slander, and other vindictive actions by mean spirited people. Others here cannot do that because of their church situation. I do not go to a Oneness Church so I do not have a Oneness pastor or Oneness church members who might want to "destroy" me if I say something they do not agree with.
We can belong here and participate without revealing our real identity if we want. I hope it stays that way.

Hmmm, I am glad Peter didn't stand fast regardless of the cost. Glad he listened to God and went and visited those Gentiles.
Glad N.A. Urshan didn't stand fast regardless of the cost, and decided to get baptised in Jesus name, and decided to preach it and share it!
Bro. Mooney is a friend, and I haven't heard the message, but I want to say that certainly there is a time to change... especially when God leads you into greater truth! Which we should expect as we get closer to God, that He will lead us deeper in truth. However, during that process we may just find some things we believed strongly, were not truth... no different than Peter and N.A. Urshan found out.
Don't be scared of what God is leading you into.... God won't call you to a place that doesn't exist.

Sam I personally like you but honestly your choice of a non truth preaching church tells me you are no longer Apostolic thus since you are no longer with us tells me much. Again not intending to be offensive but it is like someone that denies his citizenship critizing the US from Cuba.

I seldom get involved in any of these discussions-- but for once, I am going to say something.
Ron, now THAT is one of the most ridiculous posts I've ever seen you make-- and this is how I really feel... and I'm saying it from my real name. Not hiding behind a mask.
That is absolutely NOT true. People post here because they have FREEDOM OF SPEECH here. OPINIONS aren't silenced by the ADMIN team. You can't say that about any other forum you post on. In the past, people have been so intimidated by others-- and threats have been made against some members to the point that they are scared to use an identity that anyone would know who they are because of people who run to some organization or a pastor to tattle on them. THAT is why people are allowed to use anonymous ID's here. That will not change, whether you or anyone else likes it or not.
At least the current admin team members aren't sitting here with our hands on the ban button waiting to kick people off the forum for having a different opinion.

I belong to a couple of other Apostolic Forums.
A while back I received the left foot of disfellowship from the leader of a group called Ministers Only. The group was deleted from the list of groups on my home page, and I could not access it. I received the following message in my email:
"The posts and discussions that you created was totally against the apostles doctrine. I deleted them due to being so far off from biblical Truth. I encourage a difference of thought and opinion, but the doctrine you presented had nothing in common with the biblical Truth of the apostle's doctrine for salvation."
Back in November 2008 the administrator of another Apostolic group sent me the following message to my email:
"Your discussion is being removed and I would ask that you never discuss the plan of salvation on ----------. This is a topic that is handled by our Pastors and ministers, not left up for discussion in a forum where false teachings can be propagated.
"Should this violation occur again, please note that we will have no other choice but to remove you from the site."
I have never received a warning like those on this site although I've had a couple of posts deleted (maybe just one) here and received one (I think) warning but not because of doctrine.

Tina, I agree with Ron. AFF is the Apostolic National Enquirer. It doesn't need to be founded as long as it makes good gossip. As far as the freedom of speech is concerned this is the argument for all the filth we hear on radio and TV. Who cares who it hurts as long as we have the freedom to say it.

I've known and have been connected to PM's ministry for years.
I know several of the Motown Brothers.
I am quite familiar with the political state of the UPCI, and the influences and power grabs.
Your deductions are possibly true, but it's simply not what Mooney said. He was talking about false doctrine and "falling away" in general. Did he have Motown in his mind the entire time? Only he would know that. His message was a legitimate buffer about the temptations of leaving the church, some of which are family members, and then he eventually spoke of secret meetings. All separate points that each had 5-10 minutes spent on them. If this is in your mind, it's easier to connect dots, and imagine dots.
I'm just being fair. I've listened to the message in its entirety. Folks are taking words said at different time frames and applying them all to the 3-second sound byte that they (probably accurately) imply he's referring to the Detroit crew. That's not being fair with his words, that's all I'm saying.
