Re: Changing Denominations
In the interests of peace -- i'm done.
I still would like to know who made the call.
I'm stepping away from the keyboard
slowly easing away

Maple Leaf, it is good to see you, my cross country, friend. I hope all is well at the opposite end of the 'home and native land'.

Things are just peachy on this coast of God's favourite bit of real estate.
I trust that all is well with you and yours.
You still singing in PVR's choir?

Can anyone really get over anything in the past as long as people like this are allowed to pop up under psuedo names and start the 'junk' again?
What would Bullwinkle gain from me posting my whole closet of mistakes? Would he feel vindicated of his?
Just curious?

Really?
Good intention?
REALLY?
Honestly?
Gee, I wonder how a highly educated person could not see where posting this thread would lead?

An excellent question - I anxiously await the answer.

Rhoni...seriously.
Do you even realize how some of this stuff sounds?

You might want to take her advice, Rhoni.
This thing just keeps going downhill...

I agree.
Even if the intention was good, from the very beginning this thread was a time bomb just waiting to go off.

Re: Changing Denominations
The roses in the window box
Have tilted to one side
Everything about this assembly
Was born to grow and die Oh it doesn't seem a year ago
To this very day
You said I'm sorry brethen
If I don't change the pace
I can't face another day And love lies bleeding in my hand
Oh it kills me to think of you with another Denomination
I was preaching Apostolic Holiness and you were in the quorum
But my Bible couldn't hold you
So you split the forum
Love lies bleeding in my hands I wonder if those changes
Have left a scar on you
Like all the burning hoops of fire
That you and the Pentecostals passed through You're a bluebird on a telegraph line
I hope you're happy now
Well if the wind of change comes down your way Sister
I hope you'll make it back somehow

You know Rhoni, I have always had great discussion with you. I just think that threads like this are enough to make Christopher Hitchens roll on the floor with tears in his eyes. Sister, I'm just a convert, I didn't grow up in this stuff, I'm not a second, third or fourth generation. I just had a crazy preacher from Arkansas who showed me the One God Jesus name baptism.
I studied everything that was "told" me, and because I fell in love with the Holy Ghost, I kept seeing more good things. I had bad things happen to me and I have had bad things happen to my wife and children. All at the hands of religious people.
Sister we have all been together for a long time, and you should reconsider hanging out with some dry toast, cornflake cold Methodists.
I'm telling you Sister, you won't like hanging out with denominal Christians.
Jesus name baptism!!! Sister Rhoni!!!! The Holy Ghost is still cool!!!!
Sister Rhoni, don't leave the forum.
In Jesus name

Re: Changing Denominations
This thread is very confusing and I realize that I have no clue what it's about. I thought it was about changing denominations.
