Here is what I found in the New Testament Greek Lexicon about Physician:
The New Testament Greek Lexicon
i´A/omai
1. to cure, heal
2. to make whole
a. to free from errors and sins, to bring about (one's) salvation
So, what I have been saying about Luke is true.

Well, according to the scriptures, it is bondage and I just found out about it being in bondage just today by studying. It is also shown as being idoltry too.
If he needs meds, then take them, but that seems like it is being in bondage to me.

At the risk of starting another 30 page free for all, what are those scriptures?

Do you have ESword? Look up Galatians 5:20 then if you have the rest of the reference materials that you can add to ESword and do the cross references for it. Also look online for Lexicons that will show you the same things that I have said.
You see, if I looked it up you wouldn't believe me, so it would be better for you to look it up, because then when you see the truth for yourself, nobody will be able to say that you got it from me.
BTW, people are going to have to work out their own salvation with fear and trembling.
Php 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

I don't do E-Sword. Tried downloading it and it set my anti-virus alarm off.

Do an online search about it and you will be able to find it that way. James has found out this and he showed me, then I did a more indepth search and found more about it.

I've already been down the no doctors/no medicine road of faith. I think it's great you guys are studying this out. You won't really know where you stand on this issue until you find yourself in a dire situation, but it's a good exercise in faith anyhow.

Re: Witchcraft = medication
I am not one to agree with OM, but he may have a valid point.
I still believe in doctors and medicine and such, but have seen way too many overmedicated people recently. There is too much medicine abuse. We have been working with new converts coming from drug backgrounds, in and out of jails. Much of it is PRESCRIPTION. If I have to stand before another judge with a new convert to give witness to the fact they are trying to get right because of prescription abuse, I believe I will scream.
I have not had bp problems for over a year and a half. That is just about when I quit taking meds and said God, you are going to have to do this. I get it checked once in a while, and though higher than it should be, it does not compare to what I suffered with before. I feel great, and can do just about anything I want without complications.

I have found out that if people study about it for themselves, then let God give them the answer, you would be better off because by me showing you or anyone else, people would think that I am nuts. That is why I don't show people much about Bible stuff because they need to get the spiritual understanding of it through God. If they don't study it for themselves, then how will they be able to get spiritual understanding of it? They wouldn't be able to.

Exactly. We have to turn it over to God and let Him take care of it, because if we turn it over to Him completely and not keep taking it back, then it would be taken care of.
