Your steps are ordered of God. He knew where you needed to be! Stay safe. We're still praying for y'all.

Just saw this, girl...as Tam said, God is indeed ordering your steps.

And what a comfort there is in that...we are NOT out there on our own but are directed by the gentle hand of the Master.

He knows all and does all things well!!

May His ever reaching and loving hands guide you as you work for Him, Sis. C...

It's 3:40 pm Sunday here in Hong Kong and we are getting ready to board a plane for Los Angeles, where we will spend the night tonight and then head for Memphis on Monday. I cannot wait to have a SOFT bed at the Westin at the airport tonight!!!! Hong Kong was fabulous; I definitely want to come back someday, even though the flight to get there is horrendous. It is the most fascinating city. I don't think I've ever seen a U.S. city that compares with the technology and infra-structure. It's massive and has more skyscrapers than any place I've ever seen. The harbor view is amazing and the shopping is endless.

One thing that surprised us - in a city where only about 7% is Christian of any sort, there are Christmas songs being played everywhere in English. And most of them are not secular Christmas songs, but religious. We thought it was kind of strange. We were in a little French deli this morning and there was some song playing that was saying "Jesus is great; Jesus is God".

It was great to connect with our Filipino pastors; they are such hard working and humble men. God has blessed L & T Ministries in the Philippines and it is definitely growing.

I'm glad you had a great time in Hong Kong too!! I love this city!!

Actually, the first time I ever came here, I hated it and told my husband that I NEVER wanted to live here!! But that changed on my 2nd trip I told him before that if we were going to live in Asia, I'd want to live in Singapore!! I still love Singapore too though - but I'm glad we're in Hong Kong!!

It would be hard for me to get Eddie back to HK just for a vacation - he gets kind of stir-crazy on that long of a flight! But I would definitely come back again. Maybe a stopover in Hawaii would be a good rest!!!!

We are finally home in Jackson, TN, and it's after midnight and I'm wide awake, because my sleep schedule is all messed up. I have to go in to work tomorrow at church, so I will probably be goofy all day. LOL! All in all, we crossed sixteen timezones by the time we landed in California. That's a very long way away!!! I was so glad to sleep in a soft bed in L.A. and again last night in Memphis. We had church tonight in Memphis and then drove on home. Tonight I will finally be in my own bed (if I ever can actually get sleepy!!!).

I will post pictures later, or at least email them to Renda and she can post them, since I never got that much needed lesson from Jeanie when she was here! I think I got some great pics of Hong Kong and also of our two Filipino pastors who we met with. What great guys!
