My Old Order Mennonite family gets together for a feast - all 60 of us - but not alot of gifts trade hands - with exception made made for small children. Decorations are limited to hanging arches of Christmas cards.

On my wife's side and in our personal family we do decorate and celebrate.

Well, let's see ... Rico could try to run over Dan with his car but Dan will have to be mighty close ... those 500 dollar cars Rico drives break down after they go a few hundred feet.

I'd attend, but I wouldn't want to prove Rico wrong in public.

Yes, I do believe the angels rejoice everyday for our sake that He came to earth to redeem mankind. They say and rejoiced the night he was born and I believe they continue to sing and rejoice not just one night a year but every night. The whole gospel story depends on the fact that He was born for if he was not born He could not die.
I have said before I do not think He was born on the 25th of Dec I think He was born during the feast of the Tabernacles...the date does not matter the fact that He was born does..
Hark! the herald angles sing, glory to the new born King.My our lips tremble with praise and our hearts beat with joy that among the millions that have never heard of His first coming we are so blessed to know.

ahhhh it's still pagan!!

So because the days of the week are named after pagan deities we can celebrate Jesus birth with pagan customs associated with sun worship???

The days of the weak arguement has always been in weak one, IMO.
