I will not remove the fez. I was ordered to do so by the Egyptian government but it still remains.

And yes, I fear the "Sucking Sound," or at least I fear the fear of the "Sucking Sound." My point above was only that there's really no need for that "Sucking Sound." Nothing has really changed. A resolution that was passed in the 1970's was undone. I haven't seen one UC or "Con" even acknowledge that this was only a 30 year-old stand.
The 1970's BOOMM. They passed that resolution only a few years before you and I met. Thirty years is a long time if you're paying off a mortgage. But what is it in the eyes of the Eternal God? He hasn't even blinked yet. There truly are bigger and more troubling issues that we need each other to confront. This thing isn't that big of a deal.
It's sort of like idols in another thread. In one place Paul says idols are "nothing" and in another place he says they are "devils." Does he contradict himself? No. He's just showing that these things only have whatever power we lend to them. Which means-
we have the power. Let's use our power for good. Be brave. Stand strong. You're a great person. I've known you longer than the UPC's been on TV. I know what I'm talking about.
