Well, I can't wait to get back to church on Sunday. I wasn't very shocked at the results today even though I had hope for the RES to fail. As for the future of the UPC or any other org being formed I just don't know. JG is my pastor's pastor and I know my pastor is with LB right now but I can't say what they are discussing. I will say this though: after reading through the post on this forum along with the post on the Goodbye Kansas Preacher forum I truely don't want to be in an org with people like the ones making those comments. Personally, I wish the UPC well. Today was just as much of a relief as it was anything else. The UPC has shown the way that they want to go and they have the right to follow that path. They will follow without me and without others. As the to the "dino age" comment made by an obviously unintelligent individual I say that you must think that the churches that Bro Wilson, Bro Booker, Bro Johnny King, Bro Tim Copeland, Bro Jerry Green, and Bro Godair pastor are irrelavent since they follow the teaching of the "dino age". It's okay to dissagree but to say that the anti TV crowd is in the "dino age" is crazy. Oh well, this is just my two cents... On Sunday it's back to business as usual, having church, praying people through, and preaching holiness. I hope that everone has a good trip home from GC.

1. Not everyone feels the same.
2. Give your own pastor room to change his mind, if he wants to. Some may be surprised that it passed, and may reconsider, especially considering res #3.

Do you think the format of a new conservative org would be much different than global?
It would take years to get anywhere near another format like the UPC. Ex. a GS who would give up a church, an HQ.

Hey, it's not the box that's causing them to do this.
