The thing is that Hinn has be proven wrong so many times but people are willingly ignorant.

Show me an instance where anyone has been healed and a leg has grown back.
BTW, I don't believe that the UPC is on par with Scripture.

There is a difference in claiming healing and actually being healed. Lots of people claim healing that never took place. I don't think that's the issue being discussed here.
There was an independent panel who took something like a random dozen 'healings', including with children, and researched them. NOT A ONE of those people were healed, some died, even two months after the 'healing' Benny claimed they had, and one was a child who spoke little or no English who was supposedly deaf and received healing in his service only to find out he had no impairment to begin with. Benny claims that people who are potential fakers are screened before coming onstage......hmmm......
|
ok, you said a panel researched a dozen or so people that claimed to be healed at the crusades? THOUSANDS claim healing. Show me HUNDREDS of people....show me THOUSANDS of people and the panel will have more influence. You can't show a dozen or so that haven't been healed and declare that no one ever gets healed. There are tens of thousands more that will say different.

Yea I can understand this point. I too don't understand why some of his followers seem to Ignore some of the PROVEN FACTS about him and his ministry that are on video and audio . statments that HE HIMSELF has Made.
But Dave, I know that you are of the belief that if a minister makes a mistake in prophecy or healing, they ought to be tared and feathered and burned at the stake. our preachers have made some huge blunders too- depending who you are and who you are related to in Pentecost is the deciding factor as to whether you get a second chance or not

As i said, there are many accounts from our missionaries of such healings both in writing and the testimonies they give in the states

"Mistake"? No. Speaking for God Yes they should be judged according to Scripture.

Dave you keep this pressing up and .... next we will be forced to ask the really tough questions, like if it's God's will for the church of today to mirror the healing ministries of Jesus and the diciples.
If the answer is "Yes" then pretty much all churches today are out of the will of God.
Hmmmmm.....
