After reading this thread and others justifying the shallow theatrics of TBN I am now convinced 100 percent that there are some on AFF that are not really Apostolic at all. The sooner we understand that the better.

Love - yes. Acceptance of false ways - no. You have hate false ways - bible.

It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law. Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold. Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

Oh I already understood that. No need to stomp your feet and wave the hands. Yes this part is clear or at least they claim to be Apostolic yet at every chance they get they attempt to marginalize the "Apostolic" message.

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

I think his show is terrible. I saw it and in one breathe he prays and in the next breathe he is cursing terrible words from his mouth right on the show.

OK then... IMHO he must repent with the same publicity as he sinned to have any real credibility as a Christian.

I am a firm believer in the Old Paths

Who is doing that in this thread Prazeas? All I see are people showing support for a television personality that goes on national tv and prays to Jesus. Is there something wrong with him doing that, or is prayer only for apostolics now?
