What a sweet and gentle soul you are!! I shall forever remember your words to me in a card this past January. You wrote...
"This first day of the New Year, you have been visiting me--in my thoughts and prayers." You had no way of knowing I needed those words...what an awesome God we serve!! He knew and directed you to the point of need.
Though we have never met face to face, your kindness and thoughtfulness has endeared you to me.
My sincerest prayer for you is continued comfort and strength...may each day bring you joy and peace in His presence.

Barb, just wanted to let you know that I got to see a pic of you last Thursday when I met with a couple of folks from here for lunch. Sure wish you could have come, too!! You look so sweet - just like your posts always are. I hope that sometime in the near future we can make a connection. I have a very good friend who lives near you and I would love to come and visit with her for a weekend. If I get to work that into my schedule, I will PM you and see what we can work out

Glad you had a nice time, Margie...Substance doesn't say much, but it's okay 'cause HO is willing to take up the slack and is funny to boot.
I'm just plain ole Barb...nothing special here, but it sure is nice that you'd like to meet me.

LOL!! I know you are joking, Mal, but the truth is, I'm not making a list as it were. Just seem to be writing as things come to me...not sure why.
I do appreciate most...I mean, all and pray for the souls numbered here.

We haven't seen much of you, more so the last few days I think...at any rate, but come by as often as you feel to, knowing that you are greatly appreciated and respected.

We don't always know why events happen in our lives. Sometimes it's the enemy at work and sometimes it's the hand of the Almighty...and sometimes it's just life.
One thing is for certain...God is there in the midst of it all, doing His thing, as only He can. He provides the answers and calms the storm with the gentle wave of His hand...speaking peace like none other He soothes the trouble mind.

Thaks for the kind words. I also share an appreciation for most of the posters here and those that I don't serve a purpose in that they give me something to take my frustrations out on besides my wife and dogs!
