yes, because I was in the navy and stationed there. that place is the armpit of the USA and the reason I refuse to return to the state of Virginia.

I am now having flashbacks and cold sweats.

They actually live in Hampton, but when we fly we fly into Norfolk. His stepdad is retired Navy. I love it there. There is so much history in the area.

Here Ferd, this is just for you:
norfolk, norfolk, norfolk, norfolk, norfolk, norfolk, norfolk, norfolk, norfolk, norfolk, norfolk

Even funnier, you should take photos of Dan and make a video for him of DAN.

Ya know, if Dan posts just a few more pics on here, I could steal all of them and then go ahead and make a video of DAN for Dan. Wonder if he'll take the hint now.............

They are visiting my Parents in OK for a couple of days and then coming back to California the Northern Route... ie..Colorado..Wyoming.. and so on..

I will be fishing in the morning... and afternoon and then tomorrow evening and Sunday I will be out of Town...

but it will be a lonely week.. you may see me here more than often..:D

They will return the following Saturday or Sunday...

I miss them terribly if it's only but for a few days... We normally don't take seperate vacations.. but I can't take off from work... Booo..Hooo...

Bro. RevRandy,

I know you are probably saying a lot of this TIC, but when I hear

someone talk about having a little time with out family, etc., I

automatically think, "What a great opportunity to spend extra time

alone with Jesus! To draw just a little closer to Him. To get to KNOW

Him a little better. If we want to get to know someone better, we

must spend time, quality time with them.

Brother, I am not preaching to you. Just mothering a bit, I guess.

After mothering and nurturing six children to adulthood, I would like

to help someone else through the things I have learned through

experience. I can tell you, everyone needs to know Jesus because

every one of us are going to come to a point when we need Him and

we do not need anything between Him and us. No interference!! If

we get to KNOW HIM intimately, or personally, He will be there when

we call. I've never heard anyone say they had spent too much time

with JESUS! Just a suggestion for filling some of the time you're alone!

May He keep His Protective Hand on you and also your family while

they are absent, in Jesus Name!!!

Blessings,

Falla39

Practice your best turn or burn sermon in front of the mirror. It might be good to tape yourself as well. That way you can work on voice inflection.
