well, if i may, i'd like to suggest that it is ultimately satan who starts wars, and we are hardly likely to be privy to any secret cabals that the men you mention may be. I think all 4--or at least 3 of them, absent Truman--even acknowledged and bemoaned some "higher forces" at work. So i think the Conspiracy Theorist perspective, while quite possibly not always accurate in every respect, is at least a much more accurate representation of how the world is run. Many respected people have indicated that it is much worse than anyone can imagine.

And i will grant that it is hard to accept, having come up in a country that was once so benevolent; although even the founding fathers gave us many, many warnings about the men with the money in Europe seeking to subjugate the dollar, and thus the country.

So i don't mean to imply that Rep/Dem, Con/Lib etcetc aren't real, but that they are more or less constructs made to distract and divide, and provide for names to call each other in anger. If either group in any divide had a better claim to any moral right, be it Freedom or any others, then they would have no competition for votes. If voting could change anything, you have to believe that satan would not allow it.

we have homos getting married on "public" television now; which kind of makes "libs defeated" into a joke. I could suggest some documentaries which would be painful, but at least relevant, for anyone who feels the need to make reference to the world--or google can, too. Of course i agree with you that it is better to dwell on other things, but in reality we should at least be relevant when we communicate with others, or risk being dismissed out of hand.

Cant do drugs-----> I believe in the right to put whatever you want in your body as long as you arent harming others.

Its seems like some people only want freedoms that fit into their Judeo Christian belief system and that is not what this country is about.
