The Supreme Court seems to side with FREEDOM for the individual and I don't think that freedom for the individual is a bad concept. In fact, it is that freedom that forms the foundation of our great country.

Freedom of the individual-- not freedom of the State government.

I'm not talking about State GOVERNMENT imposing its will. I'm talking about the people of the republics (states) setting certain standards as they see fit. The SCOTUS was never given authority to redefine marriage. Freedom of the individual is still dependent on how much freedom the States allow unless specifically specified otherwise in the constitution.

The Democrat Party was once the conservative party while the GOP was the party most responsible for starting big government and federal expansion for corporate interests. I would have proudly been a Democrat in the 19th century and at least part of the 20th.

The Democrat Party has minorities fooled into believing they care about their well being, but the statistics prove otherwise. They have done a good job maintaining the appearance of compassion and goodwill, but in the end minorities---especially AA---are taken for granted and taken advantage of by the Democrats. They offer lip service and by and large worthless government programs that keep minorities stuck in a vicious cycle of poverty and unemployment, failing public schools and government services.
