Re: Who Will Be The 2016 GOP Nominees?

I'm keeping my eye on Rick Perry and Rand Paul.

Re: Who Will Be The 2016 GOP Nominees?

Romney
I'm sure some may think I'm a broken record on this, and even though he has at this time withdrawn from the race to allow qualified candidates run, he did not rule it out totally.
If Bush does not perform well in the early polls or primaries, do not be surprised if the establishment GOP will encourage Romney to enter the fray.

BTW. He is not my first choice, although, he is over qualified in comparison to Obama or Hillary.
(Oh, I still don't think she will be the DEM nominee either, and have so stated for 1.5 years)

Bush will stumble, implode or something and Romney will jump in.

Re: Who Will Be The 2016 GOP Nominees?

Romney? Bush? Perry? This is what the GOP offers?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

The dead elephant wing of the socialist party faces off with the stupid donkey wing of the same socialist party, and the plebes think this farce of a WWE debacle is reality.

HAHAHAHA!!!!

This is downright funny. Sad, but nevertheless comical. Oh wait, God said something about all this...

Deut. 28
28 The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:
29 And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.

I have often said, and continue to do so, but I think Romney may still be the one. I am not suggesting he is my choice, but I think he is the establishments choice.

That is never going to happen. Trump says publicly that Romney "choked" and lost a presidency he should have won. Romney has nothing to combat that with. He's history.

Re: Who Will Be The 2016 GOP Nominees?

The GOP can throw whomever they want in the race, at this point it's not going to stop The Donald. He's tapped into a vein of discontent with the establishment and will only be helped more by Romney joining the race.

If Romney joined the race, he will take a lot of Jeb's support, both in fundraising and in voters. The voters supporting Trump are not going to switch to Romney if he joins. Romney will take Jeb's, Walker's and Kasich's voters and money backers.

Trump and Cruz will continue on unfazed.

Where do you put Ben Carson? People really like him a lot.

I try not to think about Carson. He was here in Phoenix and talked about using drone strikes on the border. smh

People who vote for Carson definitely aren't going to switch to Romney. Carson is more likely siphoning voters who would vote for Cruz: religious, conservative voters. I doubt Carson's supporters would switch to Trump, were Carson to drop out.

Carson clarified his point that the use of drones was to take out the tunnels, not killing people.

I don't like him for the fact that he advocates mandating vaccines. He has made comments about gun control. He is off my list. Of course, as you know, I only had one person on my list in the first place. LOL!
