I still try one about every 6 months because I dont want to hate them. The banana is the only food item, that I can say I do not like.
I would rather be able to say I like everything!
I spent 3 months in South America working as a missionary. I ended up stuck in the jungle for 3 days with these uber poor native Indian people. All they had to give me for food was bananas.
I ate them and smiled and thanked them. I hated bananas before I got there.
We built a church in that village.
God is good.

The Biblical church" are the people. The people can gather together in an 'eccelisa' (sp) therefore where 2 or 3 are gathered together, in His Name, Jesus is in the midst. however, since each individual is the temple of God, unless their sins have separated then from God, He is still with each individual..
I love Jesus and believe in living a lifestyle that shows that love! However, I hate what the Pentecostal and Apostolic churches have become. Most of the reasons for the hate have been discussed here over and over. I mentioned my feelings to a couple of family members and I might as well told them I was a satanist!!
"Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved."
How many times are these scriptures read in the Synagogue, oops! I mean 'church', but never practiced in every day Christian life?
That's exactly why Jesus didn't start a church, He filled souls with His Spirit and told them THEY ARE the church!
