I see no problem with traditional black colleges and universities, as long as they don't exclude people from other races. If a black student feels more comfortable attending one of those schools, so be it! I see these as cultural schools in the same way that an Apostolic student may choose an Apostolic bible school or college.

BTW, Tennessee State University is a public university that is considered a black university because it is 90% black and is located in a black neighborhood in Nashville. Since white students are a minority, they are given scholarships and other financial considerations to attract them there, much like a black student has at a university where blacks are a minority. This is what I call fairness and equality.
