My point exactly!

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

There are two different issues.

What does the bill do

Why did the Senate pass it.

I'm addressing "Why did the Senate pass it" not "What will this bill do"...

The issue I am addressing is MOTIVE not EFFECT while at the same time acknowledging a long time ago the negative effect this BILL will have.
All issues involved are a package, DM. You can't have one without the other. Addressing ONLY Tax Revenue is just not going to cut it.

Sooner or later is still part of the package. If we are going to change anything, let's lay out the WHOLE package. That is what Ted Cruz was doing in the video.

My opinion is that while it's primarily a revenue generating power grab by the federal and state governments, it will place undue burdens on small business. I don't think the primary reason is to lessen competition but that may be a secondary result of it.

I don't believe you can craft a bill and ignore, intentionally, the secondary or end result. These people know the end result. It isn't possible, IMO, they couldn't figure that out or admit they couldn't have figured that out.

There is no way that anyone could convince me that this statement can be overlooked as only a tax revenue issue. It is such a huge no-brainer that this bill punishes growth and success...when 45% of income is paid by small business and having generated 80% of the jobs over the past 10 years.. Someone wants to tells me this is only about tax revenue.
