Causes them to "stop" their pursuit of God? A man can't even "come" to God unless His Spirit draws them. If His Spirit draws them as far as repentance and baptism I'm sure He can draw them further on. If He doesn't then ........ the buck stops there I guess.

The Bible says that there is "power" in the preaching of the Gospel itself. Don't underestimate what can happen in the life of a person who gets their "start" under the ministry of a man like Billy Graham or a Reinhardt Bonnke (sp?).

well, I was Catholic. Questioned stuff.. almost agnostic... considered Islam.. soon after that I "accepted the Lord" and two women layed hands on me as they spoke in tongues
And soon after that I was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Spirit.

In between "accepting the Lord" and the UPC I used to watch TBN. I was so hungry for God. I didn't stop there. I kept persuing. In spite of everything I've done and been through.. I am still persuing God.
A wise man once told me to "follow the cloud." And that is what I am doing.
