So, you're basing your "bashing" of Joel on the fact that he won't come out and say that someone else is going to hell.......let me ask you this question:
When an Apostolic preacher preaches a funeral for a person who did not attend an Apostolic church, and that preacher doesn't come out and say "I believe this man/woman is going to split hell wide open" is that compromise?
And, if someone asks that Apostolic preacher "Hey, my grandma didn't speak in tongues, is she going to hell?" ....and the preacher says, "Well, it's not up to me to be the judge, that's up to God" isn't that pretty much the same thing Osteen is saying here?

No it's not the same.
And you know it.
Osteen should have told Larry King on national television,
that according to the bible,
there's only one way to heaven
and that's through Jesus Christ.
The truth, plain and simple.

Re: Christian D-Day!
And on top of THAT,
he could have told Larry King that
the only answer for possessed,
dissipated, disconcerted, displaced humanity
IS the Lord Jesus Christ.
That would have been a lot better
than trying to sit on the fence
and trying to please everybody
watching that program.

Oh, but it is ABSOLUTELY the same, my deluded friend......if an Apostolic preacher tells ANYONE at any time that "he is not the judge, he's going to leave that to God" that's exactly what Joel Osteen said, doesn't matter the audience or the media.
And, if that's the only clip you've ever seen of Joel's ministry, then you are woefully disadvantaged to make assumptions on what he teaches in his local church on a weekly basis.
So, frankly, you are discredited in my book, and I have nothing further to discuss on the subject.
Go ahead and stick your head back in your sand bunker, and hold out until Jesus comes.

Re: Christian D-Day!
Here's my last comment on this issue,,
right out of my "sand bunker":
The silence of the pastors, like Osteen, on the issues that
truly matter have left us a nation adrift.
They serve an all-powerful God but are afraid
to stand up and boldly speak for Him.
