You've been around long enough to know my position in all of this. I just hate the blind partisan politics I see everywhere. It is what reduces us from millions of voices to two groups of sheeple who are relatively easily manipulated and maneuvered by their respective puppeteers....

I don't think I have been particularly a blind partisan in the past - give credit where it's due, but this year the right is not presenting itself with honesty and is power grabbing like they accuse the others of Chicago style politics - more than I have ever seen it. Not riding that train. And the fear mongering isn't going to get my support either.

Re: US Embassies in Egypt, Libya Breached, BO Sile

What am I missing here?

BEFORE the attacks that left 4 dead in Libya, a statement was released apologizing for any offenses caused by some filmmaker. AFTER the attacks when Obama delivered his statement with Hilary by his side the only thing he said was that teh attacks were outrageous and that we stand for the first amendment. He also indeed did mention that we shouldn't denigrate other religions. So he absolutly DID make it about "oh we shouldn't have offended them".

Obama has made this more about how terrible Romney is and how we shouldn't offend those poor peaceful muslems. He rebuked Romney far harder then he condemned the MURDER of our citizens at our embassy!

It is patently misleading to present the embassy's release prior to the attack as the extent of Obama's response to the attack...and I believe you know that. To then use that misinformation to say "It's disgraceful that the Obama administration's first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks”, is terribly political and I believe a miscalculation.
The actual response to the attack condemned the actions specifically, praised those who were killed, recognized the Libyans who put their lives on the line to fight off the attackers, and promised increased security among other things.
The one statement I read concerning religion was "While the United States rejects efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, we must all unequivocally oppose the kind of senseless violence that took the lives of these public servants," ....and I believe that statement came after condemning the actions.

The movie was on the Internet 6 months ago. Suddenly there's a problem on 9/11? The administration should've been aware that our enemies would want to do something on 9/11 and they should've been prepared for it. To offer an apology on Tuesday even before the attack seems to indicate they were aware something was in the making. Why didn't they apologize 6 months ago?

And even in Hillary's and Obama's Conde, nation of the attacks they inserted some language condemning the movie. Who cares about the movie? Do they apologize when Hollywood makes fun of Christianity?

I agree with you there. We are insulted by the secular, leftist Hollywood on a daily basis, but we don't kill anyone over it.

I am all for Freedom of Speech, but we have somehow turned that into not taking responsibility for our actions that generate hate. It doesn't bode well in a world that sees us claim we are a Christian nation.

A Huffington Post article on Mitt Romney has about as much objectivity as Rosie O'Donnell reporting on PatnRobertson sermon on sodomy...
