Re: The 2012 Democratic National Convention
Yep...four years later he's the most powerful broken record in the country... he's like "someone who promised to fix your house, made things worse, and then asked for more money and resources to do what you hired him to do in the first place."

I missed that one. I was following the Reds game on MLB.com.

Reform and the god awful monstrosity called Obamacare are two vastly different things.
And NO ONE goes broke over medical bills. Hospitals can't steal your money. They can't garnish your wages to my knowledge. They are always willing to set up payments, and even if you can't make them...all they can do is turn you over to a collections agency who in turn cannot do anythign but hit your credit score.
I grew up in a single parent home with little money. I remember my mother making payments to the hospital of $5-$10 a month because that was all she could afford. They never turned her in. They never put her in jail. They never emptied her bank account or pushed her into bankruptcy.
No one goes broke over medical bills. It is a talking point.

Yeah, I think the Republicans would be giving her time at their convention if she was running on the GOP ticket. A wounded veteran is a no-brainer...great PR for your cause whichever side of the aisle.

You know if a GOP prez took out Bin Laden, they would be trumpeting that achievement. It was a significant event in American history. They trumpeted Bush's removing Saddam Hussein from power back in 2004.

Agesm76 you ask me the question below.
Quote:agesm76
Light, you sometimes have valid points that make me think.
However, you do go over the top, quite frequently.
Can you provide proof of DB's "lies"?
Thanks.
[/quote]
I think I can ans. your question with nighthawks above post. I don't believe ( I may be wrong) nighthawk is intentionally tryin to mislead or lie with his above post BUT DB said nighthawks post was a good post.
DB knows this is false thus by his affirmation of this statement he is intionaliy misleading the uninformed, thus it becomes a lie.

Re: The 2012 Democratic National Convention
Do you know anyone who has gone broke because their med bills were too much? That has to be the ONLY factor. Someone who is otherwise financially well off, but gets a medical bill and suddenly they are broke and going under.
I'll wait for you to google it and find some nonsense from a lib site.
