God does not care about our point of view. His is the only one that matters, and until mine is aligned with His, then all is out of focus and incorrect.
While true, this does not negate the fact that your pov is sacred to God,
and is not over-ridden. Amanah mentioned this already, and while I have to agree, I'm assuming this as a given.
To be more correct, God understands our POV and makes allowances for it, but our POV is not a replacement for absolute truth.
The Scriptural record is clear.
"You think you want many wives?
Ok. Have many wives. You think you
want a king? Ok. Give them a king."
I could go on for like a 1/2 hour, lol.
And you could, too. This reads better than
"God doesn't care about your pov,"
although there is truth in both.
Your pov is sacred to God,
even though it is more or less irrelevant,
and quite likely not even believed by yourself
in many areas; and (I) am blinded to your pov,
can't even really see what "sacred" means here,
and my pov is almost surely blinding me,
in whatever area I may have formed one. Hmm.
Do you see any holes in this?
The most resistance seems to come at
"God sees my pov as sacred."
Does this strike anyone as magical thinking?
We may not be using the Mirriam/Webster def of
"sacred" here, either; I'm not sure. But close enough.

It seems that all you are saying is that God doesn't override free will. Or is there more to it?

Um, also that free will is how we learn, and manifest.
Your pov is not really irrelevant,
so much as temporary; and you are trapped
in your pov until...you are not.
For an example, that will prolly make no sense,
Consider colonoscopies. Now, they would seem
to make sense, and I doubt anything I could say would
make anyone who is convinced of the efficacy of colonoscopies
to cease getting one.
But you can recog why they are indicated,
and get a colonoscopy,
or you can listen to your colon,
which sends you clear signals, all the time.
Sorry if that seems non-sequitur,
I'm on the run, back tonight.

You're right: it makes no sense.
Actually, maybe I do get what you're saying. Kinda. Are you saying, with this example, that there is a right way and a wrong way to find out certain things, and a colonoscopy is the wrong way, and knowing the warning signs that your colon gives you is the right way? And the analogy is that there is a right way and a wrong way to learn spiritual truths? That's where I get lost, though. Really not sure what you think the right and wrong ways are. Unless "discernment" is the right way? And the wrong way is..... uh..... I dunno, maybe listening to people? Yeah, that's it! I think! Do I win?

'Hmm, "right" and "wrong" kind of become
irrelevant, too; but yes. This is not to say that
a colonoscopy is "wrong," necessarily,
but see how it has been made "right,"
by subterfuge. Healthy people, who "go"
5 times a day, have no need of one.
While it might be difficult to initially see
how this might relate to your spiritual growth,
your pov, if you have one, becomes a filter
through which any future info must pass;
physical or spiritual, and so comparisons can be made.
A bit closer to home, for many, might be
your blood type. Do you know your blood type?
Most people don't--let alone how blood types
evolved, and the reason for each--and yet,
it is your blood type.
