However, Thanksgiving is pretty traditional at my mom and dads house. Turkey, Cornbred dressing, bread stuffing (my sister married a yankee so this is a concession to him but its good so...) baked ham, yams, green bean caserole ....4 or 5 deserts etc...
That all sounds so good! Ever tried a turducken? Even though the name doesn't sound appealing, I've seen pics of it and it sure looks good!

So much of cajun food sounds strange and foreign. But, I sure love it, especially with a little Feufollet (http://feufollet.net) or Jo-El Sonnier (http://jo-elsonnier.com) playing in the background...

Re: Thanksgiving Plans?

Black Friday starts at midnight, this year, so we're having Thanksgiving breakfast (turkey omelets) so we can camp out at Wal-Mark at noon.

J/K!! Not sure, but I don't think I have ever gone shopping on Black Friday. Not worth it. Oh, once just a couple of years ago, saw an ad on TV for a Blu-ray player & HDTV bundle that looked awesome. Came this close to going to get one the next day -- one of those limited quantity deals, so it would have to be early. Sure glad I didn't: couple days later, I easily found deals just as good on the web!

This all sounds great! Last year we had a Tofurkey and it was great--but we were Vegetarians then! I might try to find one again this year.

I think there are going to be deals the whole month of December. I won't stand in line at Best Buy for three hours for a shot at one of THREE "door buster" laptops.

no kidding. i think its silly but my wife and her mom and her cousins and aunts all go together. Its more about being together and having a good time.

for me a good time is my moms house watching football and eating leftovers.

It is a really nice bonus when LSU whips the dogsnot out of Arkansas. Thats always fun... too bad it only happens about half the time!
