As for myself, I would not marry outside my race, it is up to each how they feel. About the sight of God, I can't say what is OK with Him, like I said I wouldn't take a chance that it is not OK. The Bible don't say that mixed races marrying is a sin, but it does say "don't let your good be evil spoken of". It may cause a stumblingblock or an offence to some and may not accept you as you work for God.
There are so many today that do not accept mixed marriages, and even children that are mixed. There is a 10 year old boy in my church, that I love dearly, and his mother is white and father is black. He told me that his half brother wouldn't invite him to his birthday party because his friends don't like mixed kids. I thought that was cruel, but he is being punished for being mixed, and many that marry of mixed races don't think about what their kids will have to go through in life. .... I'm just saying that people that make that choice should think about all the circumstance and not just their love for one another. ..... I told little Charlie that our President was like him, of mixed parents, and he can make a difference.
Progressive shifting in politics.
You condem interracial marriages and now are swinging to the right?

May not accept me as I work for God ?? Seriously ?? Jesus addressed this with the diciples, He told them where they were not accepted to kick the dust of the town from their feet and move on. Yes there are racist out there who will cause problems for mixed marriages, but I refuse to believe we are to conform to the evil of the world just so as not to offend.
And yes , that child can make a difference. Hopefully not the same difference our President is making

Oh sure believe the media. They want you to believe Ron Paul can't win. Maybe if you think he can't win you will vote in a winner. Everyone wants to be a winner right?
They rarely report on him - if he wins a debate they fail to even mention his name. They think we are small minded followers who will vote for the trendy candidate. We've had a black president now we need a woman president like Michelle Bachman right? (former IRS agent). Or maybe we need a man that looks the part like Rick Perry - who swore he wouldn't run for president in 2012 but here he is!!!
Take a look at the issues - take a look at the candidates voting record. My conscious tells me Ron Paul is the man for the job.

LOL! you are making all the wrong points.... I will vote for the candidate I feel is best for the country. That would only be Ron Paul if every republican I can think of dropped out.
Bachman is as likely (but no more likely) to get my vote than Paul.
Paul is a gracious man with many admirable traits. His affinity for some wacky things not limited to but including his devotion to a gold standard and a pre-1812 view of the Constitution are not among those admirable traits... and disqualifiers for my vote.

Is that so? I find his devotion for outing the federal reserve among his most admirable traits.

pretty much "that is it" but "IT" is a pretty HUGE "IT"
im not happy with the the FED. But that doesnt mean I like Paul's perscription. His answer is worse IMHO than the current mess.

this is a far different position than the earlier one that led you to leaving for a while.
before it was God has his reasons and my husband wont marry mixed race people and blah blah blah....
toning it down for those who will call you hand on racisim?
By the way, when this subject comes up in real life I absolutly am as relentless and direct even with close family. there is no room in the people of God for racism. period.
That'll preach Ferd!!!
There are very few things that get under my skin more than this,
If you scratch the surface of those who preach that different races should not marry, then you will find a bigot.
Be they black or white.
I have never spoken with one who could defend their stance, either biblically or non-biblically.
