We walked down a country, dirt road to my cousins' house. I live further on down. I don't remember exactly, but if there would have been a car coming, we would have stepped off into the edge of the woods until it passed since you could hear a car coming for a mile away and see the dust cloud long before the car got to where we were. There was no problem. We slipped up behind the house and one of my cousins got what we needed to hide our nakedness.

We weren't embarassed. We just didn't want anyone laughing at us. That would have been far worse.

There is my ol' and truest friend. The greatest Organ player that I know. A bible teacher without an equal.

His body language always let me know that it was indeed ONE FLAT.
No, just kidding....you sing from the heart...

I couldn't carry your Bible Elder....

Elder, revival is set on the fair ground of Hancock county in Kiln/DeLisle MS for July 5th through the 21st. The cost is $250/day for the fair ground but God has worked it out. The board is to let us know for sure this coming Monday. will call you and let you know...

If there was any trouble, you could usually trace it back to Patsy. Gracie, her sister, was a little older but she did not have as much red in her hair. She was much more milder.

If I could have married a cousin, I might have married either one of those girls. They were full of adventure, fun, danger and more laughs than you could imagine. Gracie, could throw a mean "cow patty" and she had the best...er...er...sling shot of us all. She could raise a knot on your head with our China Berry wars.

How would anyone take it when they are told that they SING FROM THE HEART.

Don't try to explain it. My feelings are hurt.... Just kidding.

I'm looking forward to being with you under your giant tent. I know the Lord will be there too. We have seen the dumb talk, the lame walk and the deaf to hear in our meetings.

yea, back when a military commander didnt have to get a lawyer on the phone before shooting at some stinking enemy. before our war efforts were clensed so we were more concerned with not breaking things than with winning. Back when winning was a life and death matter and everyone knew it. back when Freedom meant something and everyone was willing to put thier one aspiraitions aside to secure it.

yea. the 1940s sure must have been something.

Yes, we won a war. It was our last one to win. The whole world held our great nation in awe. I'm afraid that is not the case anymore. Those that hate us have almost gained the ascendency over us.
