How do you know he forgot? And as far as "giving the guy a break" he's had two years of breaks! getting by with far more than any previous president has ever gotten by with.

Nixon lied about watergate and eventually lost his presidency. (How many lies does Obama have to his credit?)

Bush #1 said, "read my lips, no more new taxes," and it eventually cost him the election.

Yet we're suppose to give Obama a break? I hope he's given a complete break in 2012.

I'm not kidding at all. And there's many conservatives that would agree.

The guy is, if not technically genius, is close. Even while I disagreed with some of his policies, I felt, though not always fitting my ideology, many others of his policies were practical and progress. I'm not grading his political record, I'm giving feedback on his intellect, based on hearing him speak through issues. He's run circles around some other recent Presidential hopefuls.

Thanks for the insult though.

No insult intended. Sorry you took it that way. But, you are the first person I've ever heard who called Carter a genius. But, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That just ain't mine!

Not Carter... Billy... Bill..... William.... as in William Jefferson Clinton.

I do think Carter was a bright guy. Just a little inept at leading a country, and of course I agreed with few of his policies. Carter is widely considered a better man than he was a president.

He and Obama do have something in common. They both.... "got by with more than other presidents!" If Billy, as you called him, had hung around with A. Mangun a little more he might have been a UC Pentecostal. Wouldn't that have been great? Do you suppose if he had converted would he have been able to bring Hillary along with him? Just wonderin'.

Ha. Good point about Hilary. You just never know. She seemed to take a liking to MM though.

BTW, I didn't vote for Clinton either. I voted for Bush that year (and the next).

In union negotiations it is called posturing. Obama says it will damage the Republicans and the economy. He is using the media to create pressure so he doesn't have to budge on his pet agenda. Big spending, Planned parenthood and EPA funding. If obama wants to protect the fragile economy, he will give concessions.
