2. Gospel Light house (split off FUPC in the 40's or 50's)

4. Beth El (split of FUPC 10 years ago now on third pastor)
5. Souls Harbor(first split off Beth El pastored by the first pastor of Beth El)
6. Second split off Beth El (dont know the name. Pastored by the second pastor of Beth El)
7.ALJC church (dont know the name)
8. New Split off of 3 Pine that is about 6 months old (dont know the name)
9. Grace Church (Charismatic Oneness church filled with Ex FUPC people and pastored by a former FUPC pastor who had moral issues back in the late 70's early 80's)
10. There is another new charismatic former UPC preacher whom God has called to start a work in the fair burg of DeRidder La. I neither know the name of the pastor nor his new church but he is in town less than 2 miles from FUPC.

oops I said 7... that is 10.....


then there is
1. Three Pine which is approx 3 miles form the city limits of DeRidder.
2. Shaddy Grove which is approx 5 miles from the city limits of DeRidder (SG is an old established church that served this community for many many years going back to before people had cars to drive and is pastored by a great guy.


TFT told me 15 years ago that there were 45 Oneness Apostolic churches in Beaureguard Parish which at the time had a population of around 35,000 people!

Which Three Pine is Brother Booth pastoring? I met his wife in Pensacola shopping.She is super nice.

He is Episcopaleon and has heard me preach a couple of times and he said I "Fire him up"...and he wanted to return the blessing.

It was amaziong to say ther least!

I believe he has the old Three Pine. That church split after the pastor, Bro. Hebert died. The Asst. took over right after, but brother Heberts wife owned the building and the property and this led to some issues.

they spilt and he took about half the church and moved to town. the remainder wanted a UPCI pastor so they stayed. they elected a guy who was there about a month and he got disgusted and left.

Then they got Brother Booth (I believe) who is an independant but seems to be doing ok.

We shall see. Brother Hebert was a nut case. talk about spiritual abuse. He got kicked out of the UPCI for being controlling! For a very long time, he had a sign that said the UPCI was going to hell for preaching pre-trib rapture.

Those folk need a GREAT pastor just to get them un-brainwashed.

Ferd did you even know Brother Hebert? We did.He preached a revival for us
and paid out of his own pocket plus contributed to the Home Missions work we pastored as a daughter work out of an ALJC church.We knew him from years before when we first were married and he preached for our pastor.
Brother Booth and Brother Hebert were friends and he even contacted us to see if we could use Brother Booth for a revival.I did not know the church had split but its a shame.They have some really good saints and preachers.One of the nicest men we have ever come to know has been Brother Scott Griham
who pastors and is the ALJC sectional presb. from Vidor Texas who was introduced to us by Brother Hebert.
