Lay off sodypops. I haven't had one since July 11th, 2006 and I feel much better.
Oh, i know how ya feel... I enjoyed the supersize cokes everyday. But when I was expecting with my last child, 4 years ago, I quit and I definitely feel better.... I have a sip once in a great while... It's like I get this urge to have a drink and then after I take it, it's ugh yuck! But you are right.......

I started by eating 2 oz. pureed food twice a day, along with a couple protein shakes. Then I started eating about 3 oz. of soft foods with more protein shakes. Then I started eating about 4 oz. regular food a couple times a day with water, mostly.
Now I eat about 5 oz. regular food twice a day with a couple 2 oz. snacks during the day. I eat mostly protein, mainly meat and nuts and eat about 50 carbs a day.
I need to keep a food diary so I can see exactly what I'm eating, how much, and when. Just out of curiosity.
Gastric bypass...that explains why you only ate a few bites the day we met.
And all this time I thought it was the stimulating conversation...
I'm on a mission to lose some weight. (I guess that is why I started off with a breakfast of chocolate) Anyway, I wanna know what has worked for some of you.
In general, I eat very healthy. No fried foods except occasional eggs cooked with a small amount of butter. We never drink sodas, koolaid, or that stuff. You won't find hardly any boxed or canned goods, and NO chips or snacks in our home. We eat mostly fresh fruits and fresh veggies and lean meats. So we eat pretty healthy. BUT... I need to lose 60 lbs. I've started walking a mile each day except sunday and I work out lots on our home gym thingy... but I need a jumpstart that doesn't involve those diet pills... Anythoughts??
I climb about six flights of stairs a night at work right now so I am on a roll and have gone down two sizes.I don't need a home gym I need the recliner when I get home. The beach however does help me relax.
I lost 35 lbs last summer by walking 4 miles a day and limiting my intake to 1700 calories. I've only gained a little back. Now I am playing softball, walking again, and thinking about joining a weight loss program to get rid of the rest of the excess.
It really bothers me that I am a bad witness to my community by being overweight.
MEN!!!!
It took me 6 months to lose 15 lbs and alot of hard work.
My hsband decides to lose a few lbs so he stops eating ice-cream and chips (every night) and walks 30 minutes a day and loses 22 lbs in 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

James 2
12 So whenever you speak, or whatever you do, remember that you will be judged by the law of love, the law that set you free. 13 For there will be no mercy for you if you have not been merciful to others. But if you have been merciful, then God's mercy toward you will win out over his judgment against you.
