He broke faith as a soldier. He has put his fellow soldiers lives at risk, as well as, those people cooperating with the United States.

So he is Australian/British but a US soldier?

Looks like that's the deal.
Even though I totally disagree with what he did as a solider, he will probably find some support and sympathy.

Oh, I thought you were speaking about Assange being a traitor and beating him, since you originally responded to canam's post about Assange. Didn't know you were speaking about someone else being a traitor.

He had access, but appears to have exceeded his allotted time allowed. The interesting thing is that he chatted with an ex-hacker, Adrian Lamo, who turned him in. That was before security caught what he was doing.
A state department spokesman said that they were checking the number of downloaded cables Manning hacked into, but the process was very time consuming and slow.
Just crazy stuff.

That's because you expected us to disagree, Twisp! LOL! I was wondering why you were talking about Assange! LOL! And I thought canam was talking about Manning. I can see we would be no good to the state department either. LOL!

LOL!
Manning put a classified gun-sight video of a 2007 Army Apache helicopter attack in Iraq on his un-classified computer. He then accessed classified documents, databases and videos and hooked up with Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange.
He was mad at the breakup with his boyfriend, became depressed, and thinking he had nothing else to lose, lost his mind. I hope he loses his head.
